New Electric Vehicle from Ferrari Set to Impress with 310 km/h Top Speed and Advanced Features

New

Ferrari has provided an exciting update on its upcoming electric vehicle, the Elettrica, which boasts impressive specifications: a top speed of 310 km/h. On October 10, 2025, the details were revealed through the Ferrari financial app.

According to reports from The Verge, Ferrari’s announcement was made during a recent event in Maranello, where they showcased the core technologies behind the Elettrica. This includes advanced battery packs, electric motors, and a sophisticated powertrain system, although a prototype vehicle has yet to be displayed.

The company plans to unveil more information in the coming years, but the official name and design of the vehicle remain unconfirmed. Initial specifications indicate that the Elettrica will have a top speed of 310 km/h and a maximum output of 1000 horsepower. It is expected to achieve a WLTP range of 529 km.

Unlike many electric vehicles, the Elettrica aims to deliver a unique sound experience, achieved through its augmented powertrain system. This system incorporates speed sensors and an electric motor controller to produce distinctive audio effects, enhancing the driving experience.

The Elettrica will feature four doors and a spacious interior, designed to support Ferrari’s luxury SUV, the Purosangue. The vehicle is expected to appeal to a younger demographic, with an estimated starting price of around 50,000 EUR (approximately 415,200 CNY).

Utilizing 75% recycled materials, this electric vehicle will be equipped with cutting-edge battery technology, featuring a total capacity of 122 kWh, supplied by SK On. The Elettrica is designed to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

With an 800V architecture, the Elettrica can achieve a maximum power output of 350 kW. It will also introduce advanced charging capabilities, allowing for rapid charging times.

As Ferrari progresses in the electric vehicle market, the Elettrica is set to join the ranks of other electric models by 2028, while a hybrid model is anticipated in 2029. This advancement is primarily driven by increasing market demand for electric vehicles.
