This capacity will represent approximately 57.3% of the nation’s total energy generation capacity, with hydroelectric systems contributing 4.38 trillion kilowatt-hours, wind energy 5.35 trillion kilowatt-hours, and solar energy 9.46 trillion kilowatt-hours.
Additionally, by the first quarter of 2025, the cumulative power generation capacity from renewable sources is expected to reach 232.8 trillion kilowatt-hours, corresponding to a 43.9% increase, with energy utilization efficiency projected at 93.6%.
In terms of specific contributions, hydroelectric power installations are set to reach a capacity of 213 billion kilowatt-hours, while wind energy is expected to reach 1,462 billion kilowatt-hours. By March 2025, the total installed capacity for renewable energy is anticipated to be 9.45 trillion kilowatt-hours, indicating an increase of 43.4% over previous figures.
