Six LS Group Companies to Showcase Renewable Energy Solutions at Interbattery 2025
Six affiliates of LS Group specializing in energy and mobility are set to participate in South Korea’s largest battery industry exhibition, Interbattery 2025, where they will demonstrate their capabilities in the future energy sector. LS Electric announced on March 4 that it will present a wide array of renewable energy solutions at the event, scheduled to take place from March 5 to 7 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul.
The participating companies include LS Electric, LS MnM, LS Materials, LS Alsco, LS e-Mobility Solutions, and LS THiRA-UTECH. Among the highlights, LS Electric will showcase its next-generation energy storage system (ESS) and direct current (DC) package solutions, emphasizing its unique product offerings and technological expertise.
The all-in-one ESS platform from LS Electric features integrated sensors within batteries and power conversion systems (PCS) for real-time data analysis, enabling power usage forecasting, fault prevention, and enhanced safety measures.
LS MnM will highlight its large-scale secondary battery materials business, sharing its current developments and future plans. The company intends to invest around 2 trillion won (approximately $1.37 billion) to initiate mass production of high-purity metal compounds, including nickel sulfate—essential materials for secondary batteries—at its Ulsan and Saemangeum facilities by 2027 and 2029, respectively.
LS Materials and LS Alsco will focus on their strengths in renewable energy and industrial power solutions. Meanwhile, LS e-Mobility Solutions will present its latest electric vehicle (EV) safety components and technologies, including EV relays and battery disconnect units (BDUs), marking their debut at this exhibition.
An LS Electric representative stated, “By allowing customers to directly experience our cutting-edge technologies, we aim to solidify our reputation as a top-tier global solutions provider in both the present and future energy markets.”
