Renewable Energy is advancing in Qing Mountain as part of a collaborative initiative. On September 27, 2025, the National Energy Administration released a guide titled “Guidelines for Promoting Energy Quality Development”, aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of renewable energy systems.
The guidelines emphasize the importance of establishing high-quality energy systems, focusing on advanced battery storage technologies and sustainable energy sources. This initiative is expected to facilitate the transition to a green energy model in Qing Mountain.
For instance, renewable energy companies are encouraged to adopt a “Qing Mountain + Storage” model, which integrates energy safety and efficiency into the energy supply chain. This approach aims to reduce carbon emissions while promoting economic growth.
As of September 2023, renewable energy projects in Qing Mountain have generated approximately 294 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, with the storage systems completing around 186 discharge cycles and outputting 76 million kilowatt-hours of energy.
Moreover, the Qing Mountain renewable energy project aims to establish a 2.7 MW battery storage system alongside a 1.5 MW/6 MWh battery energy storage system, providing a reliable energy supply for up to 4 hours of discharge time.
The guidelines also underscore the need for rapid implementation of energy storage solutions to support the growing demand for renewable energy in Qing Mountain. A reliable and efficient energy supply is critical for the continued development and application of renewable energy technologies.
In conclusion, the collaborative efforts to enhance renewable energy systems in Qing Mountain, facilitated by the recent guidelines, are set to play a vital role in transforming the energy landscape and promoting sustainability.
