On April 10, 2025, Envision Energy officially launched the world’s first intelligent body energy storage system, the EN 8 Pro, in Beijing. This innovative system leverages an AI large model, incorporating both TradeAgent trading intelligence and Grid Agent grid construction intelligence. The EN 8 Pro is designed to facilitate autonomous and efficient interaction between energy storage, electricity markets, and power systems, thereby aiding the transformation towards a cleaner and smarter energy landscape.

The EN 8 Pro is built on a standard 20-foot container with an 8MWh+ system, featuring Envision’s 700Ah+ energy storage cells that boast a cycle life of up to 15,000 times. With an energy density of 541 kWh/m², this system significantly reduces the cost of electricity over its entire lifecycle.

This intelligent energy storage system is equipped with various specialized AI models that automatically integrate meteorological data, market information, electricity price curves, and load forecasts. For example, Envision’s dedicated AI weather model improves forecasting accuracy by 30% compared to traditional sources and enhances the prediction of renewable energy output. The AI load forecasting model achieves an accuracy rate exceeding 97%.

By synthesizing power and load forecasts, and by incorporating multi-source information at both the site and provincial levels, the Envision trading intelligence can predict day-ahead and real-time electricity prices with over 90% accuracy, outperforming the industry average by 5-10 percentage points.

Based on precise electricity price predictions, the trading intelligence integrates real-time device status information and local trading policy models, generating automated AI trading strategies that ensure efficient reporting and control. It also enables post-trade analysis for continuous strategy optimization and connects trading, production, and operations through intelligent scheduling, ensuring optimal revenue throughout the system’s lifecycle.

As renewable energy increases, a higher proportion of this energy will reduce system inertia, impacting the stability and safety of power systems. The large-scale deployment of renewable energy in high-frequency trading scenarios will introduce new steady-state and transient characteristics, leading to more voltage and frequency disturbances.

Envision Energy is driving the integration of AI with grid construction technology, upgrading to a Grid Agent based on its proprietary GenGrid generative grid technology. This upgrade combines the Galileo grid perception system, the Kongming weather prediction model, control algorithm models, and trading intelligence into a comprehensive solution. This dual-engine approach, powered by data and models, enables self-generated grid construction plans that are autonomous and accurate.

The Envision Grid Agent has self-perception, self-adaptive, and self-evolution capabilities, allowing real-time monitoring of multi-source grid data and millisecond updates of key metrics such as voltage, current, frequency, and harmonics. Through dynamic system adjustments and robust control, it achieves coordinated self-tuning of damping inertia and dynamic self-adjustment of virtual impedance, allowing seamless transitions between strong, weak, and off-grid operations. By constructing digital twin models based on real-time operational data, it optimizes control strategies without human intervention.

As the share of renewable energy continues to grow, the importance of integrated solutions combining AI and energy storage, termed “Energy Storage+”, becomes increasingly evident. In the electricity market, blending different generation curves can create higher revenue potential, while off-grid and source-grid-load-storage systems will emerge as vital forms of new power systems and energy frameworks.

With its intelligent body energy storage system and system-level capabilities, Envision can offer comprehensive “Energy Storage+” solutions, such as wind-storage, solar-storage, and source-grid-load-storage.
