The system features 68 Zhihui energy storage units, each with a capacity of 150 kW/313.5 kWh, utilizing a 400V grid connection to the park’s distribution system. The total installed capacity reaches an impressive 10.2 MW/21.318 MWh, supported by the Zhihui energy storage manager’s 24-hour active operation and maintenance center, which provides full lifecycle operational services.
Technical Highlights
- The project utilizes the industry’s first self-developed AC400V output 150 kW energy storage inverter, which directly matches the existing distribution system without the need for step-up transformers or long-distance wiring. This significantly reduces initial investment and energy losses during charging and discharging.
- Each energy storage unit occupies only 1.3 square meters, achieving a high energy density of 241.1 kWh/m². This is a notable improvement compared to commonly available products of 125 kW/261 kWh, which have a reduced overall construction cost by 4-5 cents/Wh.
- The efficient and flexible modular design, along with a front-maintenance distributed solution, effectively addresses the challenges of limited space and land availability in the park, making system expansion and future maintenance more convenient.

Once integrated into a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform, the project’s revenue potential will expand from simple peak-valley trading to include diversified revenue streams such as market trading and ancillary services, thus achieving long-term stable economic value.
