To all commercial electricity users:
In accordance with the Notice on Further Deepening the Market-oriented Reform of Coal-fired Power Generation Pricing (Development and Reform Price [2021] No. 1439), we hereby announce the electricity prices for commercial users purchasing power through an agent in June 2025.
Jiangsu Province Publicizes June Power Trading Results
On May 26, 2025, the Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Trading Center released the results of the centralized bidding for June. A total of 4.883 billion kilowatt-hours were traded at a price of 312.8 yuan per megawatt-hour. This represents a decrease of 22% compared to May 2025 and a significant drop of approximately 20% in the price.
Australia’s Cheaper Home Batteries Subsidy Program Launching
Starting in July 2025, the Australian federal government will officially launch the Cheaper Home Batteries subsidy program. All grid-connected energy storage systems installed under this program must have the capability to participate in a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). However, public interest in this initiative appears to be low.
