The Second China National Academy of Sciences and the National Science and Technology Development Forum held a joint conference at the Science and Technology Hall on April 8, 2025. This event, co-organized by the China Academy of Sciences and the National Science and Technology Development Forum (referred to as NST), focused on promoting collaborative discussions in the field of science and technology.
The conference highlighted the importance of cooperation between experts from both nations, with particular emphasis on fostering deeper exchanges in renewable energy sources and advancements in technology. The dialogue aimed to continue building a robust collaboration framework to achieve significant outcomes in the scientific community.
Munju Kim, a representative from NST, emphasized that the joint conference serves as a crucial platform for collaboration between NST and the China Academy of Sciences. He noted the need for sustained cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of their joint efforts in advancing scientific research.
The event featured discussions on innovative approaches to renewable energy, new materials, and carbon technology. Participants included over 60 experts from various institutions, including the China Academy of Sciences, focusing on energy resources and technological advancements.
During the conference, experts reviewed the current state of science and technology in both countries, discussing modern advancements and systems integration. The aim was to enhance the collaboration framework between both nations and address global energy challenges through scientific innovation.
The conference concluded with mutual agreements on the importance of continuing this collaboration to address pressing energy issues faced by humanity. Both parties expressed their commitment to further developing cooperative frameworks to leverage technological advancements and resource efficiency.
