Efficient Implementation in 29 Days! Jingao Smart Energy Supports the Successful Grid Connection of the 1.6MW Rooftop Distributed Photovoltaic Project at Changzhou Kolonwei

On April 13, the 1.6MW distributed photovoltaic project built on the rooftop of Changzhou Kolonwei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., and undertaken by Jingao Smart Energy, officially connected to the grid for power generation. The project achieved full-capacity grid connection in just 29 days, setting a new industry benchmark with the “Jingao Speed” and serving as a model for the green transformation of manufacturing enterprises.

As an important partner of Jingao Smart Energy, Changzhou Kolonwei entrusted Jingao with the development and construction of rooftop resources across four workshops based on years of cooperative trust. The project integrates concrete and color steel roofing structures to create a clean energy system with a direct current side of 1.92MW and an alternating current side of 1.6MW. It operates on a “self-consumption with surplus electricity fed into the grid” model, connecting to three transformers in the park using 0.4kV grid connection technology, facilitating efficient energy consumption.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate a total power output of approximately 46.9 million kilowatt-hours over its 25-year operational period, with an estimated delivery of 1.9676 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity in the first year. The average annual output is projected to be about 1.876 million kilowatt-hours. This is equivalent to saving approximately 573.13 tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 1,870.4 tons, sulfur dioxide by 56.28 tons, nitrogen oxides by 28.14 tons, and particulate matter by 510.28 tons each year. Every kilowatt-hour of green electricity reflects a commitment to achieving carbon neutrality goals.

Throughout the 29-day intensive construction period, Jingao Smart Energy demonstrated its robust capabilities in full-process control within the distributed photovoltaic sector by overcoming challenges such as complex roof structure adaptations and coordination for multiple transformer connections. The generation of every kilowatt-hour of clean electricity represents a steadfast commitment to sustainable development.
