Jinko Energy has announced a strategic partnership with TRANS-KOL at the Intersolar Europe 2025 exhibition, held in Munich on May 7, 2025. This collaboration aims to implement a dual-track energy storage strategy to enhance the reliability of the local grid and accelerate Poland’s transition to sustainable energy.
The partnership includes a signed contract for a 20 megawatt-hour large-scale ground storage project with TRANS-KOL, marking a significant step forward in strengthening Poland’s renewable energy infrastructure. This project will integrate Jinko’s Whale G2 5 megawatt-hour batteries, energy storage inverters (PCS), and medium-voltage integrated units (MV), ensuring optimized performance to effectively support the local grid.
Additionally, TRANS-KOL has recently ordered 20 units of the SunGiga Dolphin 215KWh solution systems for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, primarily targeting electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at gas stations, a new business area for TRANS-KOL. This energy storage project will play a crucial role in reducing energy costs, allowing TRANS-KOL to provide electricity to the charging stations at optimal prices, while also enhancing grid stability and facilitating a more efficient transition to clean energy.
Roberto Murgioni, General Manager of Jinko Energy in Europe, stated, “Jinko Energy is committed to promoting innovation in sustainable energy solutions. Our collaboration with TRANS-KOL highlights our ability to deliver reliable, flexible, and cost-effective energy storage technologies to meet the evolving demands of the market. We are excited to continue expanding our presence in Poland and across Europe, providing scalable solutions to meet the growing energy needs of grid operators and businesses. The strategic partnership with TRANS-KOL represents a significant milestone for Jinko Energy, solidifying the success of our G2 Whale energy storage system in the European market.”
TRANS-KOL CEO Marcin Sobczak added, “Jinko Energy’s mature technology solutions are helping us accelerate the deployment of clean energy in Poland. By deploying the Whale G2 large-scale station systems and SunGiga Dolphin commercial storage systems, we are not only enhancing photovoltaic efficiency but also achieving the dual goals of energy efficiency optimization and improved grid stability. This partnership signifies an important breakthrough in upgrading Poland’s energy infrastructure, with flexible technology that meets the needs of ground stations while supporting industrial applications, driving the transition to zero carbon through intelligent energy management. We will continue to integrate cutting-edge technologies to build a more resilient and sustainable energy system for Poland and its surrounding regions.”
