On September 28, the Jilin Provincial Energy Bureau announced the available capacity for distributed photovoltaic (PV) power generation projects connecting to the distribution network in the fourth quarter of 2025. According to the announcement, the capacity available in the State Grid Jilin Electric Power Company area is 1,289.94 MW, and in the Jilin Province Local Power Company area, it is 547.606 MW. This brings the total available capacity in the province to 1,837.546 MW.
Out of the 50 counties and districts in the province, 23 are under a green warning level, 23 are at yellow, and 4 are at red. The counties at red warning levels include Huadian City, Shulan City, Zhenlai County, and Tongyu County.
The announcement regarding the available capacity is made public as per the requirements of the National Energy Administration. The Jilin Provincial Energy Bureau collaborated with the State Grid Jilin Electric Power Company and Jilin Province Local Power Company to calculate the available capacity for the fourth quarter of 2025.
