SAN DIEGO & PORTLAND, Maine–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Intersolar & Energy Storage North America (IESNA), the premier tradeshow and conference series for solar and storage professionals, has announced new activities and spaces designed to improve the attendee experience at its flagship event, taking place from February 25-27 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA.

“We’ve curated various touchpoints throughout the event to ensure attendees can tailor their experience to best suit their needs,” said Beckie Kier, Event Director of Intersolar & Energy Storage North America. “From training sessions and product highlights to live interviews and competitions, these opportunities will maximize attendees’ investment.”

New and Noteworthy Activities:

• Hands-on Workshops: Presented by industry leaders including NABCEP, SEI, Bill Brooks, and Sean White on February 24, these full-day and half-day courses will provide technical training with actionable takeaways.

• The Hub Stage: Open to all attendees, this revamped exhibit hall area features educational presentations, insightful interviews, and focused podcast sessions. Sponsors include Yotta Energy, ABC Supply, QBI Solutions, Anza, Caterpillar, ContractPower, FranklinWH, PVcase, and Renewable Energy Solutions. The Hub is produced in partnership with Suncast Media and Solar Builder Magazine.

• New Product Showcase: This innovative space will feature digital posters highlighting the latest products and solutions from select exhibitors. Attendees can vote for their favorite product, take professional headshots, engage in a solar and storage trivia game, and recharge in the area.

• Solar Games: The fifth annual installer competition will challenge eight teams to build residential solar and storage systems, competing for over $16,000 in total cash prizes. The Premium Sponsor for 2025 is SiteCapture. Equipment used in the competition will be donated to Twende Solar to support projects empowering under-resourced communities with renewable energy systems.

• Special Pavilions: The new Manufacturing Pavilion will streamline the process of sourcing quality production machinery and equipment, while the Startup Pavilion will showcase companies leading the way in energy innovation.

• Port of San Diego Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal Site Tour: Participants will enjoy a guided bus tour of the Port of San Diego’s sustainable maritime innovations, including their microgrid, electric cranes and tugboats, and zero-emission cargo equipment.

• Networking Luncheon: Co-hosted with Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) on February 25, this luncheon will focus on the challenges facing the renewable energy industry and strategies for navigating them collaboratively.

• Powerful Perspectives Luncheon: Co-hosted with Dylan Green on February 26, this luncheon will explore career advancement and how attendees can effectively market themselves throughout their careers.

• Connection Lounge: This dedicated meeting space complements IESNA’s mobile app and AI-powered networking platform.
