On April 22, 2025, the International Symposium on Green Energy and Advanced Materials Technology between China and Morocco was held in Beijing. The participants reached a broad consensus on strengthening international scientific and technological cooperation in the energy sector between China and Morocco, aiming to explore new opportunities for international scientific collaboration and support Africa's energy transition.
<b>Diao Peibin</b> emphasized that the symposium signifies a further deepening of energy technology cooperation between China and Morocco. He noted that it will assist in the substantial development of the Huadian Morocco Engineering Technology Center, providing support for the establishment of China Huadian's advantageous industries in Morocco and other African nations.
<b>Jamila El Alami</b> expressed Morocco's eagerness to collaborate with China in green energy and other fields, highlighting that Morocco is pleased to partner with China, which is at the forefront of innovation and technology. She anticipates that both sides can regularly hold high-level international scientific exchange activities based on the Huadian Morocco Engineering Technology Center and the China-Morocco Joint Laboratory, fostering more scientific cooperation projects and advancing their technological collaboration.
Huadian Technology is accelerating the establishment of a world-class technology innovation platform to promote the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of energy and electricity, engaging in comprehensive international energy cooperation. This symposium further demonstrates their "Technology Going Global" strategy.
