On April 24, during the “Accelerating Net-Zero Transformation with Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Technology” forum held concurrently with the International Solar and Energy Storage Exhibition in Indonesia, Dr. He Zhenyu, Deputy General Manager of LinYuan Energy Storage, highlighted the company’s technological advancements and showcased its cutting-edge achievements in the energy storage sector.

Dr. He stated that as the global energy structure rapidly transitions toward renewable energy, LinYuan Energy Storage, with its integrated “Source-Grid-Load-Storage” approach, has launched a comprehensive solution catering to all scenarios. This solution offers core support for grid stability and efficient energy utilization through precise control and optimization.

The Power Key® liquid-cooled energy storage cabinet employs intelligent temperature control technology, leading to a 40% reduction in energy consumption and achieving industry-leading energy density. The modular Power Atlantic® design supports active management at the cluster level, enhancing system flexibility and further improving operational efficiency. Meanwhile, the Power Hub® intelligent microgrid system utilizes AI algorithms to optimize energy distribution, improving multi-energy coordination management and grid integration capabilities, ensuring stable load operations.

Addressing common concerns regarding safety and lifespan in the energy storage industry, LinYuan Energy Storage employs a high-safety architecture from battery cells to modules, integrating multiple fire suppression systems and real-time gas monitoring to significantly reduce the risk of thermal runaway. Additionally, the company utilizes AI digital twin and edge computing technologies to implement self-correcting algorithms for State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH), providing thermal runaway warnings up to two weeks in advance with over 90% diagnostic accuracy.

The new generation long-life battery cell (628Ah) combined with silicon carbide (SiC) PCS technology extends the system’s cycle life by 20% and reduces the Levelized Cost of Storage (LCOS) by more than 10%, ensuring economic viability for large-scale deployments.

In response to challenges posed by high penetration of new energy, such as low grid inertia and weak voltage support, LinYuan Energy Storage’s Active Grid Construction Technology demonstrates breakthrough capabilities. This technology supports voltage and frequency stability through millisecond-level response, a 300% overload capacity, and seamless grid connection/disconnection, effectively suppressing wide-frequency oscillations. It has been successfully implemented in several large-scale projects, including a 90MW/180MWh project in Inner Mongolia and a 200MW/400MWh project in Xinjiang, facilitating grid black start and high renewable energy absorption.
