Source-grid-load-storage: Intelligence Across Miles! GoodWe Shines at the ESIE International Energy Storage Exhibition
On April 10, 2025, the 13th International Energy Storage Summit and Exhibition (ESIE 2025) commenced at the Beijing International Convention Center. As one of the largest and most influential events in the global energy storage sector, the exhibition showcased cutting-edge trends in energy storage technology and market applications.
GoodWe made a significant debut with the theme “Source-grid-load-storage: Intelligence Across Miles.” The company presented comprehensive solutions covering various scenarios, including residential, commercial, and ground energy storage. This systematic approach highlighted the entire ecosystem from energy production and storage to consumption and intelligent management, making it a focal point of the exhibition.
Integrated Solutions for Energy Transformation: The event featured GoodWe’s residential energy storage solutions, showcasing the Sunrise Series photovoltaic building materials, ET hybrid inverters, and Lynx F batteries. The ES Uniq energy storage system paired with Lynx U series batteries and the ES Uniq series single-phase energy storage inverters were specifically designed for residential applications, offering both efficiency and cost-effectiveness. These systems seamlessly switch to backup power in less than 4 milliseconds. Additionally, the AI-driven AFCI 3.0 arc protection supports microgrid operation for photovoltaic inverters.
The ES Uniq also features a three-in-one port for generator, backup power, and intelligent load management, addressing various scenario demands for efficient energy storage. Paired with the Lynx Home U series battery, specifically designed for residential applications, it utilizes an advanced six-layer safety protection system, capable of continuous 0.9C charging and 1C discharging, while supporting up to 30 parallel connections to expand capacity to 150kWh. The -20°C low-temperature heating technology ensures stable battery operation.
To tackle the urban household space challenge, GoodWe introduced balcony photovoltaic products with a minimalist design and flexible installation technology, transforming small spaces into efficient power generation units. The exhibition also marked the debut of GoodWe’s heat pump series, facilitating the “light-storage-heat” synergy for clean alternatives in high-energy consumption scenarios such as winter heating and hot water supply, optimizing both household electricity costs and comfort.
The residential storage solutions utilize the SEMS smart energy management system to monitor and manage distributed energy in real-time. Leveraging big data and intelligent algorithms, the system optimizes energy dispatch, reduces costs, and enhances efficiency, enabling comprehensive energy management and optimization.
Integrated Solutions for Industrial Scenarios: For commercial applications, GoodWe’s “Galaxy” series photovoltaic building materials convert building facades and rooftops into power generation units. Meanwhile, the ESA261 outdoor energy storage unit cabinet incorporates a next-generation 314Ah high-energy density battery cell, highly integrated with a 3S system that combines longevity, safety, and cost-effectiveness, supporting up to 10 units in parallel, achieving a maximum of 1.25MW/2.61MW, and featuring AI-driven battery diagnostics and health predictions.
The GoodWe PCS 125kW series string energy storage inverters employ a modular design, allowing flexible placement and supporting both grid-connected and off-grid operations. They perfectly adapt to mainstream market battery cells and can integrate different energy storage systems based on customer needs, providing higher economic returns.
The “Integrated Energy Storage and Charging Canopy” solution combines the ESA100kWh energy storage system, Arctic series photovoltaic building materials, and smart charging piles, creating a zero-carbon closed-loop system for “photovoltaic generation → energy storage peak shaving → electric vehicle charging.” This solution is suitable for parking lots and industrial parks, promoting a shift from grid dependence to self-sufficiency through a “self-consume + surplus electricity online” model.
The latest PCS215kW + Boosted AC Integrated Cabinet, showcased as the core module of the energy storage system, employs intelligent grid algorithms and features such as virtual synchronous machines and black start capabilities. It boasts an impressive grid support capability and can quickly respond to grid dispatching, with a maximum efficiency of 99.01%. It is compatible with various lithium-ion batteries and includes dual surge protection for AC and DC, with an IP66 rating ensuring robust dust and water protection for the energy storage system.
The modular design of the boosted AC integrated cabinet supports the mixed use of new and old batteries, flexibly adapting to changes in grid strength and addressing site limitations and operational challenges, thereby providing strong support for the widespread application and long-term stability of energy storage systems.
Smart Energy WE Platform: Unlocking System Value through Virtual Power Plants: GoodWe’s Smart Energy WE Platform serves as the digital brain of “Source-grid-load-storage,” utilizing AI algorithms for cross-regional energy dispatch and virtual power plant aggregation management. It constructs energy digitalization, systematization, intelligence, and marketization, offering services that safeguard energy assets, enhance value, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. The platform aggregates various distributed energy sources to empower renewable energy assets in participating in electricity trading markets.
Collaborative Ecosystem: Building an Energy Storage Ecosystem: During the exhibition, GoodWe signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the National City Investment Industry Cooperative Organization, Xiamen New Energy Technology, and Ruipu Lanjun New Energy. The collaboration will focus on energy storage system integration, battery technology innovation, and smart energy platforms.
The strategic signing was witnessed by Zeng Shaojun, Secretary-General of the All-China New Energy Chamber of Commerce, and Wang Yingge, Vice President of GoodWe Technology Co., Ltd. GoodWe Vice President Hou Xiangyong and Zhang Wenbing, General Manager of GoodWe Power Technology (Guangde) Co., Ltd., were also present at the signing.
During the “GoodWe Night” event, Vice President Wang Yingge delivered a keynote speech on “Source-grid-load-storage: Intelligence Across Miles.” GoodWe, with over thirteen years of experience, has evolved beyond a single equipment supplier, establishing a comprehensive landscape of “Source-grid-load-storage.” On the “source” side, GoodWe’s BIPV photovoltaic building material product matrix aims to capture the trillion-dollar building photovoltaic market, while photovoltaic carports and integrated energy storage solutions continue to lead the industry.
On the “storage” side, GoodWe has been investing in energy storage technology since 2012, developing a comprehensive product system covering residential, commercial, and ground power stations, establishing the “energy hub” of the new power system. On the “load” side, “Dianle Duo” creates distributed photovoltaic turnkey projects and innovatively introduces GoodWe’s heat pump products to cover the entire energy use cycle for households.
On the “intelligence” front, the GoodWe Smart Energy Platform has collaborated on over 8GW of distributed energy projects, leveraging virtual power plant technology to facilitate market-oriented electricity trading and construct an intelligent brain for the collaborative dispatch of “Source-grid-load-storage.”
