Christian Peter, the director of the Aikux European Research Institute, delivered a speech titled “Innovative Breakthroughs for the Zero Carbon Era: ABC Technology Driving the Future of Photovoltaics” at the Intersolar 2025 global solar energy conference. His presentation highlighted significant advancements in high-efficiency photovoltaic technology. The latest product release, the “Navigator” smart module, integrates inverter and digital gateway technologies, providing flexible solutions for residential, commercial, and large-scale power plant scenarios, ensuring improved lifetime solutions for investors, owners, and installers.

In another significant development, Beam Global has launched a prefabricated solar electric vehicle charging station in the USA. This system combines an inverter, battery storage system, multi-standard EV chargers, and a 14.3 kW solar photovoltaic array. The CEO noted, “The public grid lacks sufficient capacity to power the electrification of transportation, AI, data centers, and industrial electrification.” The station features integrated solar photovoltaic panels that supply energy to multi-standard EV chargers with an output of 5.76 kW each, measuring 6.31 m x 3.26 m, and a height of 4.66 m, with a minimum clearance of 2.74 m.

During the Intersolar Europe 2025 event in Munich, held from May 7-9, Aikux was awarded the “Top Brand PV 2025” certification across five major European markets, including Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK, indicating its expanding influence in the solar market. The event was the largest and most historic solar and energy storage exhibition globally.

On May 12, the procurement results for photovoltaic components and inverters by the Shanghai Railway Bureau Group were announced. Eight companies, including DAHENG Energy Co., Ltd. and China Energy Conservation Solar Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd., were awarded contracts for the supply of photovoltaic modules and inverters.

At the Huawei Intelligent Photovoltaics conference held on April 30 in Bangkok, the company announced its first commercial wind-liquid intelligent cooling energy storage system for the Asia-Pacific market. Sun Xiaofeng, President of Huawei Digital Energy’s Intelligent Photovoltaics Business, emphasized the global push for solar and wind energy, aiming to triple installed capacities by 2030, while energy storage system installations are expected to increase sixfold.

In a strategic move, Hoymiles and Runyang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement to deepen their partnership in the photovoltaic market, aiming for resource complementarity and collaborative advantages in both centralized and distributed photovoltaic sectors.

Analysis of recent bidding activities revealed that nearly 30GW of components were publicly awarded in April, with significant contracts awarded to leading companies such as Tongwei Co., JinkoSolar, and LONGi Green Energy.

At the 2025 Korea International Green Energy Exhibition, Sungrow Power Supply Co. showcased its new generation of photovoltaic inverters.
