Hunan Guoci Power has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hydrogen Green Motion. On May 21, 2025, Hydrogen Green Motion New Energy (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. and Hunan Guoci Power Technology Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Wuhan to initiate in-depth collaboration in the fields of liquid hydrogen storage and transportation, as well as hydrogen power generation technology. Professor Cheng Xiaobei from the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology attended the event as a witness.
According to the agreement, both parties will establish a “Liquid Hydrogen – Hydrogen Power Generation Joint Laboratory”, focusing on key technologies such as low-temperature starting and high-load durability of hydrogen internal combustion engines. They will also jointly apply for national major scientific and technological projects.
Additionally, the partners plan to promote the establishment of a Green Microgrid Innovation Center to accelerate the commercialization of liquid hydrogen new energy technology. This collaboration signifies a deep synergy between the two companies in the hydrogen energy sector, aiming to integrate industrial resources and academic research capabilities to support the country’s “dual carbon” strategic objectives.
Looking ahead, both parties will continue to deepen their cooperation, creating a hydrogen energy industry ecosystem and contributing to the advancement of new energy technologies. Leaders from the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone participated in the discussions and witnessed the signing ceremony.
