Major Announcement: The First Commercial and Industrial Wind-Liquid Intelligent Cooling Energy Storage System Officially Launches in the Asia-Pacific Market
On April 30, the Huawei Intelligent Photovoltaics Asia-Pacific Commercial and Industrial Future Energy Summit took place successfully in Bangkok, Thailand, with nearly 600 customers, partners, and installers in attendance. Sun Xiaofeng, President of Huawei Digital Energy Intelligent Photovoltaics, opened the event by highlighting that, in line with the goals of COP28 and COP29, there will be a significant push for the adoption of solar and wind energy globally, with plans to triple installed capacity by 2030. Furthermore, the installation capacity of energy storage systems is expected to increase sixfold. This objective not only emphasizes the central role of renewable energy in the global energy structure but also showcases the critical importance of storage technology in achieving energy transition and ensuring reliable energy supply.
During the event, Tong Jinlu, President of Global Commercial Sales and Services at Huawei Digital Energy, introduced the industry’s first intelligent wind-liquid energy storage system for commercial and industrial use—the LUNA2000 – 215 series. This product was developed through a collaborative effort over three years by Huawei’s 12 global R&D centers, setting a new industry benchmark while evaluating six key criteria for energy storage systems. Its innovative wind-liquid intelligent cooling system boasts an industry-leading 91.3% round-trip efficiency, complemented by a unique dual-loop cooling plate design and a C2C dual-chain safety system, redefining the future of energy storage technology.
The LUNA2000 – 215 series perfectly integrates with Huawei’s 150KW high-power inverters and ultra-fast charging technology, enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of commercial and industrial energy storage solutions through a comprehensive approach known as the “triple hexagon warriors” of solar, storage, and charging. This innovative product successfully provides robust energy storage solutions for enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region, promoting the realization of green and sustainable energy usage.
At the launch event, Huawei and industry leaders engaged in discussions about the future development and innovation of energy storage technology, laying a solid foundation for the future of sustainable energy.
