Huawei Digital Energy has entered the comprehensive networking era with its all-scenario networking energy storage solutions. During the Intersolar Europe 2025, Huawei Digital Energy held a strategic conference titled “Smart Integration of Solar and Storage, Constructing the Future“, which attracted around 300 global customers and partners. The event focused on comprehensive networking and high-quality development, unveiling a new generation of networking energy storage products and solutions tailored for large-scale energy storage stations, microgrids, commercial applications, and residential scenarios. This initiative aims to lead the renewable energy sector into a new era of comprehensive networking.

Zhou Tao, President of Huawei Digital Energy’s Smart Photovoltaic Product Line, presented the strategic objectives and value propositions of Huawei’s smart photovoltaic initiatives. He emphasized that Huawei’s smart photovoltaic solutions will adhere to strategic goals focusing on the integration of 4T technologies to promote the construction of the new power system energy infrastructure. Huawei’s smart string network energy storage solutions offer three key value propositions: ubiquitous networking, end-to-end security from core to grid, and a single platform that supports all business models, accelerating the development of a 100% renewable energy-based new power system.

Zheng Yue, President of Huawei Digital Energy’s Smart Photovoltaic Product Line for energy storage, launched the new generation of all-scenario smart string network energy storage platform, which includes new products for energy stations and commercial applications. Addressing the challenges posed by high proportions of renewable energy to grid stability and energy storage safety, Huawei has defined the golden standard for networking capabilities: energy storage should possess comprehensive networking capabilities throughout the entire power system, across all scenarios, operational conditions, and lifecycle stages.

In the Red Sea region of the Middle East, a 1.3 GWh energy storage and 400 MW photovoltaic project employs large-scale networking technology, establishing the world’s largest solar-storage microgrid station, achieving 100% renewable energy supply for the city. This system has operated continuously and stably for over 18 months, providing more than 1 billion kWh of green electricity. In Tibet, the 30 MW photovoltaic and 6 MW/24 MWh energy storage station developed by Xizang Kaitou operates at high altitude (approximately 4,600 meters), extreme low temperatures, and weak grid scenarios, showing a photovoltaic output increase from 1.5 MW to 12 MW, enhancing photovoltaic consumption by 75%. During a ten-day period, the station effectively supported the grid over 30 times.

Huawei’s smart string network energy storage redefines the value boundaries of energy storage using power electronics technology, safeguarding grid security and stability, and is writing a new chapter in global energy networking during the renewable energy era. Additionally, Huawei Digital Energy has redefined energy storage safety with six core safety designs, upgrading the safety protection system from the industry-standard box level to a more refined battery pack level that prevents thermal runaway from spreading, ensuring that smaller energy storage protection units are safer. This, combined with the Battery Management System (BMS) for multi-dimensional intelligent diagnostics across the entire lifecycle, significantly enhances the system’s proactive safety capabilities, ensuring the healthy development of the energy storage industry.

Sun Quan, President of Huawei Digital Energy’s Residential Smart Photovoltaic Business, introduced a new home energy management solution 6.0, leading the way in green power generation and smart energy consumption. Among the new products, the LUNA S1-7kWh home storage solution boasts industry-leading 15-year warranty, over 40% more usable capacity than competitors, and can expand up to 252 kWh, making it adaptable for both residential and small commercial scenarios.

Huawei’s residential solar-storage solutions have become the preferred choice for 3.9 million households and 30,000 installation partners worldwide, facilitating the transition from zero-carbon homes to energy communities that foster mutual benefit. Huawei’s smart photovoltaic solutions deeply implement strategic objectives, reshaping the standards for all-scenario networking in the new era and delivering beyond-expectation comprehensive smart solar-storage solutions for global customers and partners, thereby accelerating the global energy transition and the construction of a new power system.
