Honor Enters the Humanoid Robot Market with Upcoming Launch at MWC 2026

Honor

Honor is set to enter the realm of embodied intelligence with the upcoming launch of its first humanoid robot during the MWC 2026 in Barcelona. This positions Honor as the first mobile phone company globally to venture into the humanoid robotics space. According to a report from Ke Chuang Ban Daily on February 24, 2026, the company will officially unveil this innovative product at the event.

During the launch of the Honor 400 series on May 28, 2025, the new CEO, Li Jian, announced Honor’s entry into the robotics sector and showcased the robot’s impressive running speed of 4 m/s, setting a new industry benchmark. The humanoid robot is designed primarily for home services, smart companionship, and daily assistance, aiming to deliver a more natural and user-friendly smart interaction experience.

Alongside the humanoid robot, Honor will also exhibit the ROBOT PHONE, a robotic smartphone equipped with a retractable mechanical arm that supports features like automatic composition, target tracking, and advanced stabilization. Competitors in the humanoid robotics field include Tesla, Xiaomi, and Yushu Technology. However, Honor leverages its extensive experience in the smartphone industry, particularly in areas like edge AI computing, multi-sensor integration, human-computer interaction, imaging, and device collaboration, to gain a competitive edge in the consumer-grade embodied intelligence market.

The MWC 2026 will take place from March 2 to 5, 2026, where detailed specifications and launch plans for Honor’s humanoid robot will be officially announced.
