On May 13, 2025, at 17:18, SolarEdge announced that its ESA261kWh energy storage system has been certified by TÜV Rheinland. This recognition underscores the company’s commitment to providing sustainable energy solutions.
As part of the ongoing transition towards renewable energy resources, SolarEdge’s energy storage systems are designed to ensure a stable supply of electricity while balancing energy loads. According to company statistics, by 2024, SolarEdge’s energy storage capacity will reach 4.4GW/10.9GWh, aligning with the growing demand for energy storage solutions in the renewable energy sector.
During the Intersolar Europe 2025 exhibition, SolarEdge showcased its ESA 125kW/261kWh energy storage system, which successfully passed the TÜV Rheinland compliance assessment. This certification confirms the system’s ecological suitability and compliance with international standards.
SolarEdge has emphasized the importance of sustainable energy technologies, which enable high-efficiency energy management and storage. The ESA261kWh system incorporates advanced features, including a new generation of 314Ah high-density batteries, high-level integration, and a lifespan designed for optimal safety and efficiency. The system supports up to 10 devices connected in parallel, achieving a maximum output of 1.25MW/2.61MWh.
In addition to its technical capabilities, the ESA261kWh system is engineered for user convenience, providing intelligent load control and management features to enhance consumer experience.
