In early 2025, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance issued a notice expanding the subsidy range for retiring older vehicles and increasing the subsidy standard for new energy city buses and power batteries. The average subsidy per vehicle is expected to rise from 60,000 to 80,000 yuan.
