Anhui Hefei Encourages Leading Enterprises in New Energy Storage and Low-altitude Economy to Unleash Scenario Opportunities!

On May 21, Hefei, Anhui Province, announced a notice regarding the collection of innovative application scenario opportunities and capabilities in the Hefei High-tech Zone. The notice emphasizes the encouragement of leading enterprises in next-generation information technology, advanced photovoltaics, new energy storage, quantum information, and low-altitude economy to explore scenario opportunities in line with the High-tech Zone’s “5+2” industrial system.

The notice outlines the following details:

1. Collection Targets:
   • The collection of innovative application scenario opportunities is aimed at various units including departments of the management committee, state-owned enterprises, and industrial companies.
   • The collection of innovative application scenario capabilities targets technology-based enterprises, universities, research institutes, and other relevant organizations within the High-tech Zone.
2. Key Focus Areas:
   • Scenario Opportunities: The collection will focus on four main areas: government governance, social welfare, industrial upgrading, and innovation communities. Relevant units are encouraged to release scenario opportunities to create a resource pool for innovative application scenarios.
     • Government Governance: In line with the digital high-tech construction, a series of scenario opportunities in smart governance, traffic management, urban safety, and ecological protection will be gathered to enhance urban governance efficiency.
     • Social Welfare: Under the digital social governance framework, opportunities in smart healthcare, smart education, and smart communities will be collected to provide efficient and convenient digital services.
     • Industrial Upgrading: Focusing on the High-tech Zone’s “5+2” industrial system, leading enterprises in next-generation information technology, advanced photovoltaics, new energy storage, quantum information, and low-altitude economy are encouraged to unleash scenario opportunities.
     • Innovation Communities: The collection will also target parks with high industrial concentration, such as software parks, to gather scenarios related to smart management, efficient services, green low-carbon initiatives, and smart office buildings.
   • Scenario Capabilities: The collection will focus on new technologies, products, and models that align with the development direction of emerging industries and future industries, demonstrating strong technical innovation, broad demonstration potential, and high value leadership.
3. Submission Requirements:
   • Content of Submission: For innovative application scenario opportunities, complete Attachment 1 and provide relevant supporting documents. For innovative application scenario capabilities, complete Attachment 2 and provide relevant supporting documents.
   • Deadline for Submission: The submission deadline is May 27, 2025, at 17:30. The compressed file should be named in the format: submission date-unit name-submission item (scenario opportunity/scenario capability).
4. Next Steps: The Science and Technology Bureau, in collaboration with relevant departments, will invite experts to review the scenario opportunity list based on demonstration potential and feasibility. Upon approval from the management committee, implementation will commence. The scenario capability list will also be reviewed with a focus on technological innovation and market potential, and the best candidates will be promoted.
