Haier New Energy is accelerating its growth through a dual strategy focused on both residential and commercial sectors, having established several strategic partnerships at the Intersolar Europe event in Munich, Germany, on May 7. The company showcased its green household solutions and commercial application scenarios centered around “AI Intelligence.” Partnerships were formed with notable entities including BNP Paribas Personal Finance, the Dutch distributor GL Link, European Machinery Import and Export Co., Ltd., and Cell Mind GmbH, a professional service provider in the commercial energy storage sector.

During the event, Haier New Energy also announced its installer certification standards and authorized installation partners to enhance user experience through professional service capabilities, thereby accelerating the localization of green, low-carbon living in the European market.

Smart Interconnectivity for Home Energy Management

Haier New Energy is addressing the urgent needs of European households for energy cost control and low-carbon solutions with its green household solutions. The company utilizes a dual product matrix of “high voltage + low voltage” to create a flexible system through differentiated products. This system optimizes the energy cycle from generation to storage and consumption using product interconnectivity, scenario linkage, and AI algorithm enhancements.

The hOn App, developed by Haier New Energy, features a smart energy management system that employs IoT technology. This allows users to monitor photovoltaic generation efficiency, storage charging and discharging status, and appliance energy consumption data in real time. The app automatically adjusts the operational timing of high-power devices and integrates new energy products with smart home scenes. At the event, Haier New Energy signed a memorandum of cooperation with BNP Paribas Personal Finance, a leading global financial group with nearly 20 years of collaboration with Haier Group. This partnership aims to establish a long-term strategic cooperation for consumer finance, providing customized financial solutions to reduce the initial investment costs for users purchasing new energy products, thereby enhancing energy self-sufficiency and independence.

Haier New Energy also partnered with GL Link, a specialized distributor in the Netherlands focused on new energy. GL Link has a well-established network and a one-stop service model, making it a key player in the sustainable energy sector in the Netherlands. Together, they plan to bring residential solutions into more Dutch homes.

In response to the challenges faced by European commercial users, such as sensitivity to price fluctuations and high energy complexity, Haier New Energy has launched a series of products within its commercial solutions, including the E-Flex solar storage integrated cabinet. This high-integration modular design saves 20% in space while ensuring safety with compartmental isolation and triple fire protection designs. Additionally, its container-based energy storage solutions utilize efficient and durable liquid-cooled storage to balance grid loads, improve energy utilization, reduce electricity costs, and address issues like intermittent generation imbalance.

Haier New Energy also introduced smart operation based on energy storage and AI throughout the product lifecycle. This system connects with electricity prices across multiple European countries, utilizing AI algorithms, weather conditions, and consumption data to conduct load analysis and configure optimal energy strategies, providing more cost-effective energy solutions for commercial users.

To empower more European businesses, Haier New Energy has formed a strategic alliance with European Machinery Import and Export Co., Ltd., a company that has been active in the European market since the 1990s and specializes in the new energy sector.
