
On April 27, 2025, Haier New Energy successfully completed the grid connection and delivery of a 1.044MWh energy storage station for Guangzhou Sakura Cosmetics Co., Ltd.. This achievement not only demonstrates Haier New Energy’s commitment to promoting green and low-carbon development within the cosmetics industry in Guangdong but also serves as a robust testament to its adherence to the “Seven-Star Service Standards”.
The project utilizes a contract energy management model, allowing the electricity-using enterprise to share the benefits of peak shaving and valley filling, thereby reducing electricity costs during peak hours and achieving dual improvements in economic and environmental benefits.
Located in the heart of China’s cosmetics industry in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Sakura Cosmetics has specific energy consumption characteristics. Firstly, the company requires a stable power supply to ensure the continuous operation of high-precision production equipment. Secondly, the production and storage of cosmetics necessitate strict control of temperature and humidity. To maintain a constant environment, the air conditioning system must operate for extended periods, especially in the hot and humid summer months, which further increases electricity consumption.
Addressing these energy consumption characteristics, Haier New Energy customized a 500kW/1,044kWh energy storage solution for Sakura Cosmetics, employing four 261kWh energy storage standard cabinets. By optimizing the charge and discharge strategy through intelligent algorithms, the system achieves full charge and discharge cycles twice daily, resulting in a daily charge and discharge volume of approximately 2,000kWh, effectively lowering the company’s production energy costs.
The implementation of the energy storage project at Guangzhou Sakura Cosmetics not only highlights Haier New Energy’s technical strength and service capabilities in the commercial energy storage sector but also fosters a new ecosystem of mutually beneficial energy cooperation centered around integrated solar and storage solutions.
