From October 12 to 14, in response to the accelerating global energy transition and the growing demand for energy storage in the Middle East, HiTHIUM showcased its comprehensive energy storage solutions at the Solar & Storage Live exhibition in Riyadh. The company highlighted its latest advancements in long-duration energy storage, sodium-ion storage, and energy solutions for AI data centers, attracting attention from numerous industry experts, clients, and partners.

During the event, HiTHIUM prominently featured its dedicated long-duration energy storage battery, the ∞Cell 1175Ah, and a 6.25MWh system, along with a specialized sodium-ion battery, the ∞Cell N162Ah. The company also introduced energy solutions that integrate lithium and sodium technologies, specifically designed for AI data centers (AIDC), showcasing its ongoing breakthroughs in long-duration storage and lithium-sodium fusion technologies.

At the exhibition, HiTHIUM’s Senior Director of Global Market and Business Development, Giriraj Rathore, delivered a keynote speech titled “Long Duration Energy Storage Driven by AIDC & KSA Localization.” He discussed the company’s technical approach and localization strategy concerning the integration of long-duration storage and AI data center energy solutions. Giriraj emphasized that the energy demand from AI data centers is increasing exponentially, driven by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which enhances digital and computational infrastructure. This trend places higher demands on the stability and continuity of power systems, and HiTHIUM’s AIDC energy solutions are specifically designed to address these needs.

By employing an 8-hour long-duration lithium battery storage system to establish a stable foundation and incorporating sodium-ion technology to flexibly manage peak loads, HiTHIUM aims to achieve an optimal balance between efficiency and redundancy in energy usage for AI data centers. Additionally, the system features efficient thermal management and cooling designs, significantly reducing operational costs (OPEX). Leveraging HiTHIUM’s continuously improving local manufacturing and operational systems in Saudi Arabia allows for rapid deployment and high availability, providing stable, economical, and safe energy support for AI data centers.

Giriraj Rathore also participated in a panel discussion titled “Unlocking Grid Flexibility: Integrating Battery Energy Storage Systems Into Existing Grid Infrastructure.” He engaged in an in-depth dialogue with experts from local energy agencies about enhancing grid flexibility through energy storage systems and the prospects for multi-battery technology in grid applications.

In addition, the Director of Regional Solutions for the Middle East and Africa, Sivagaru, presented another keynote titled “The Future of AI Data Center in Energy Storage.” He further explained the crucial role of long-duration storage in the energy systems of the AI era and demonstrated how HiTHIUM’s lithium-sodium fusion technology can create more efficient and sustainable energy foundations for smart computing centers in the Middle East, drawing significant interest from clients and partners.

HiTHIUM also showcased several innovative products, including:

  • The Desert Eagle series ∞Power 6.25MWh 4-hour storage system: Specifically designed for the high-temperature and sandy environments of the Middle East, it features high-temperature resistance, sand-proof capabilities, and exceptional durability. The multi-layer insulation structure reduces internal temperatures by 8–10°C, ensuring stable operation under extreme temperature variations of -30°C to 60°C. Its core components utilize a fully sealed design and are equipped with an intelligent dust alert system, with key components having a continuous operational lifespan exceeding 40,000 hours.
  • HeroEE Home Energy Storage Solutions: Based on the company’s industrial-grade battery cells and deeply integrated with photovoltaic systems and inverters, these solutions enable rapid deployment at lower costs. Since the launch of HeroEE 1, HiTHIUM has introduced HeroEE 2, HeroEE 8, HeroEE 16, as well as the latest HeroEE LIGHT 1, MaxPower 8 AIO, and LEGEND 112C series, with capacities ranging from “one kilowatt-hour” to “over ten kilowatt-hours,” catering to diverse applications such as homes, schools, and clinics.
  • ∞Block 261kWh Commercial Energy Storage Integrated Cabinet: Featuring a high energy density design, this compact and transportable system allows for quick deployment. It includes an intelligent BMS management system with real-time monitoring, multi-level protection, and smart balancing functions to ensure safe and stable operation. The system also supports modular expansion and is adaptable for various applications such as grid frequency regulation, renewable energy grid connection, and peak-load management.

From the extreme environment-oriented “Desert Eagle” to the AIDC energy solutions that merge lithium and sodium technologies, and the inclusive energy HeroEE series along with the highly integrated ∞Block commercial storage cabinet, HiTHIUM demonstrates its innovative strength and commitment to responsibility within the global energy storage industry. In recent years, HiTHIUM has deepened its presence in the Middle East through initiatives ranging from battery cell manufacturing to system integration, from localized services to building long-term partnerships, actively participating in regional energy infrastructure development. This appearance in Riyadh not only showcases HiTHIUM’s innovative capabilities within the global energy storage supply chain but also signifies its accelerated implementation of systematic solutions in the fields of AI data centers and long-duration storage, injecting new momentum into the energy transition in Saudi Arabia and worldwide.
