On October 20, 2025, Guangdong Xingda Hongye Electronics Co., Ltd. officially commenced its 5MW/10MWh energy storage project. Representatives from various parties involved in the project attended the ceremony to express their congratulations.
This project is being invested in and constructed by Guangdong Huiheng Smart Energy Co., Ltd., which is providing a comprehensive energy storage system solution and will manage the energy storage system throughout its entire lifecycle.
The energy storage project at Xingda Hongye is expected to have a capacity of 5MW/10MWh and will be connected to the grid at 10KV. It will utilize 20-foot, 5MWh prefabricated storage cabinets and 261kWh integrated storage cabinets. The project employs high-end 314Ah battery cells and a three-pack level fire warning architecture, ensuring stable operation of the main equipment for 15 years.
The project will operate using a peak-shaving and valley-filling mode, taking advantage of the time-of-use electricity pricing in Guangdong Province, and will implement a “two charge, two discharge” strategy. Additionally, it will participate in demand-side response programs, which are projected to yield total economic benefits of approximately 21.2 million yuan.
Xingda Hongye is located in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, and is a subsidiary of Konka Group Co., Ltd. (000016.SZ). Konka Group is fully owned by the state-owned China Resources Group.
