Source, Network, Load, Storage: Intelligence at a Distance! Goodwe Shines at the ESIE International Energy Storage Exhibition
On April 10, 2025, the 13th International Energy Storage Summit and Exhibition (ESIE 2025) opened at the Beijing International Convention Center. As one of the largest and most influential events in the global energy storage sector, the exhibition showcased cutting-edge trends in energy storage technology and market applications.
Goodwe made a significant impact with the theme “Source, Network, Load, Storage: Intelligence at a Distance.” The company presented comprehensive solutions covering residential, commercial, and utility-scale energy storage, demonstrating a complete ecological chain from energy production and storage to consumption and intelligent management.

Integration of Source, Network, Load, and Storage: Accelerating Energy Transformation

At the exhibition, Goodwe showcased its household energy storage solutions, featuring the Xuri series of solar building materials, ET hybrid inverters, and Lynx F batteries. The ES Uniq energy storage system, in combination with Lynx U batteries and ES Uniq single-phase storage inverters, is specifically designed for residential applications, combining efficiency and cost-effectiveness. It seamlessly switches to backup power in less than 4 milliseconds and utilizes AI-driven AFCI 3.0 arc protection to support microgrid operation with photovoltaic inverters.
The ES Uniq system is equipped with a tri-port interface for generators, backup power, and smart loads to meet various scenario needs for efficient energy storage. Paired with the Lynx Home U series batteries, which are designed specifically for residential use, these low-voltage lithium batteries feature an advanced six-layer safety protection system, enabling continuous charging at 0.9C and discharging at 1C, with the capability to connect up to 30 units for a total capacity of 150 kWh. Additionally, the -20°C low-temperature heating technology ensures stable battery operation.
To address urban residential space constraints, Goodwe launched balcony photovoltaic products, featuring minimalist designs and flexible installation techniques that transform small spaces into efficient power generation stations. The exhibition also marked the debut of Goodwe’s heat pump series products, connecting the “light-storage-heat” synergy for clean alternatives in high-energy consumption scenarios like winter heating and hot water supply, optimizing household electricity costs and enhancing comfort.
The household storage series solutions utilize the SEMS smart energy management system to monitor and manage distributed energy in real-time. By leveraging big data analytics and intelligent algorithms, these solutions optimize energy dispatch, reduce energy costs, and enhance energy utilization efficiency, achieving comprehensive management and optimization of energy resources.

Integrated Solutions for Industrial and Commercial Scenarios

For industrial and commercial applications, Goodwe’s “Galaxy” series solar building materials convert building facades and rooftops into power generation units. The ESA261 outdoor energy storage integrated cabinet employs a next-generation 314Ah high-energy-density cell, effectively incorporating a 3S system that offers longevity, safety, and cost-effectiveness, supporting the parallel connection of up to 10 units with a peak capacity of 1.25MW/2.61MW. It is also equipped with AI-driven battery diagnostics and health prediction features.
Goodwe’s PCS 125kW series string inverters utilize a modular design, allowing flexible placement and supporting both grid-connected and off-grid operations. These inverters can be adapted to various mainstream battery cells in the market and can integrate different energy storage systems based on customer needs, maximizing economic benefits.
The “integrated solar-storage-charging carport” solution combines the ESA100kWh energy storage system, Arctic series solar building materials, and smart charging piles, creating a zero-carbon closed-loop system for “solar generation → energy storage peak shaving → electric vehicle charging.” Designed for parking lots and industrial parks, this model promotes a shift from grid dependency to self-sufficiency using a “self-consumption + surplus electricity feed-in” approach.
The latest PCS215kW + Boost AC integrated cabinet, showcased as the core module of the energy storage system, features intelligent grid connection algorithms and capabilities like virtual synchronous machines and black start. With an outstanding grid support capacity, it can rapidly respond to grid dispatching, boasting a maximum efficiency of 99.01% and compatibility with various lithium-ion batteries. It also includes secondary protection against AC and DC surges, with an IP66 high dust and water resistance rating, ensuring the safety of the energy storage system.

Smart Energy WE Platform: Unlocking Value through Virtual Power Plants

The Goodwe Smart Energy WE platform serves as the digital brain for the “Source, Network, Load, Storage” ecosystem, utilizing AI algorithms for cross-regional energy dispatch and virtual power plant aggregation management. This platform builds a digital, systematic, intelligent, and market-oriented energy model, providing services for energy asset security, value preservation, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and value addition. By aggregating various distributed energy resources, it supports the participation of new energy assets in the electricity trading market.

Collaborative Ecosystem: Building an Energy Storage Ecosystem

During the exhibition, Goodwe signed strategic cooperation agreements with national urban investment organizations, Xiamen Xinneng’an Technology, and Ruipu Lanjun New Energy. This collaboration aims to deepen partnerships in areas such as energy storage system integration, battery technology innovation, and smart energy platforms. The signing was witnessed by Zeng Shaojun, Secretary-General of the National New Energy Chamber of Commerce, and Wang Yingge, Vice President of Goodwe Technology Co., Ltd.
At the “Goodwe Night” event, Wang Yingge delivered a keynote speech titled “Source, Network, Load, Storage: Intelligence at a Distance.” Having accumulated thirteen years of experience, Goodwe has evolved beyond a single equipment supplier to establish a comprehensive “Source, Network, Load, Storage” ecosystem. Through its BIPV solar building materials product matrix, Goodwe aims to capture a significant share of the trillion-dollar building photovoltaic market, continuing to lead in integrated solar carports and storage solutions.
Since its entry into the energy storage sector in 2012, Goodwe has developed a comprehensive range of energy storage products catering to households, commercial industries, and utility-scale power stations, establishing itself as a central energy hub in the new power system. On the load side, Goodwe’s “Dianle Duo” offers distributed photovoltaic turnkey projects, introducing innovative air-source heat pump products to cover the entire energy consumption cycle for households. On the intelligence side, the Goodwe Smart Energy platform has collaborated with over 8GW of distributed energy resources, empowering market-oriented electricity trading through virtual power plant technology and forming an intelligent brain for coordinated dispatch of “Source, Network, Load, Storage.”
From breakthroughs in inverters to a closed-loop smart energy ecosystem, Goodwe is actively driving the transition of energy systems towards “low-carbon resilience and economic efficiency.” Moving forward, Goodwe will continue to focus on technological advancements and ecological collaboration, maximizing the value of every kilowatt-hour of electricity.
