GoodWe Unveils Innovative Solar Storage Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2025, Captivating Global Attention

GoodWe

GoodWe made a significant appearance at the Intersolar Europe 2025 exhibition, launching its new solar and storage solutions that have captured global attention. The event took place on May 7 at the New International Exhibition Center in Munich, Germany, under the theme of “Symbiosis of Solar and Storage.” GoodWe showcased its innovative products and solutions, highlighting its forward-looking strategies in the integration of solar energy and storage, as well as the construction of a smart energy ecosystem.

The chairman of GoodWe, Huang Min, stated, “Driven by our mission, we are innovating through intelligent collaboration along the entire energy chain—from generation and grid to load and storage. This launch marks a significant milestone in our transformation into a ‘smart energy solution provider’.”

In the EcoSmart Home scenario, GoodWe introduced the new ESA home storage unit (3-10kW/5-48kWh), featuring an all-in-one architecture with modular design for flexible expansion. It includes a battery optimizer that allows for the use of both new and old batteries, operates quietly, and is designed for household aesthetics, thus creating an “energy autonomous aesthetic space” for modern homes.

At the exhibition, GoodWe also showcased its balcony solar products, designed with minimalistic aesthetics and flexible installation techniques, turning small spaces into efficient power stations. Additionally, the company presented its heat pump series, which connects the “solar-storage-heat” synergy chain to provide clean alternatives for high energy consumption scenarios like winter heating and hot water supply, ultimately optimizing household electricity costs while enhancing comfort.

In the commercial sector, GoodWe expanded its product range to cater to varying solar and storage needs of different scales. The ET50kW storage inverter combined with the BAT100kWh battery cabinet addresses the requirements of small to medium-sized commercial setups. Moreover, the newly unveiled ESA 261kWh series commercial storage integrated cabinet supports microgrid construction, solar-storage transformations, and backup power functionalities, with capabilities to connect up to 10 units for a maximum expansion potential of 1.25MW/2.61MWh, aiding businesses in achieving energy efficiency and long-term returns.

Safety remains a priority, and GoodWe set an industry benchmark by demonstrating its comprehensive “from cell to system” protective framework. The ESA home storage unit features a six-layer safety architecture, covering everything from battery-level protection to emergency response. Key components include A-grade battery cells and an intelligent BMS system, smart electrical protection, an IP65 high-strength shell, multiple thermal runaway protections, and rapid shutdown capabilities for rooftop safety through AFCI 3.0 and RSD 2.0.

With the challenges posed by dynamic electricity pricing policies, the demand for a smart energy management system has become essential. GoodWe has developed an AI-driven Energy Management System (EMS) that enables smarter energy storage, usage, and conservation strategies. For homeowners, the GoodWe Home Energy Management System (HEMS) facilitates intelligent decision-making by coordinating solar generation, storage, electric vehicle charging, and heat pump operations, improving self-use rates and reducing reliance on the grid—offering savings of up to 30% on electricity bills compared to traditional systems. Furthermore, to ensure compatibility with EMS, GoodWe has upgraded its hardware products comprehensively. The new ESA series now supports AI-driven energy management.

For commercial clients, GoodWe optimizes energy usage efficiency, enabling comprehensive energy management and configuration. The system not only enhances self-consumption but also supports third-party EMS protocol integration, empowering users to participate in electricity trading and grid services.

GoodWe’s European General Manager, Zhang Jie, remarked, “We are committed to advancing safe, reliable, and high-performance solar and storage solutions to create customer value. These new partnerships reflect our long-term commitment to the European market. By deepening local collaborations and accelerating project execution, we aim to build a more responsive and powerful service network that helps our partners succeed in the rapidly evolving energy landscape.” GoodWe will continue to adhere to its innovation-driven strategy, deepening its global footprint and assisting in the clean transformation of energy structures in Europe and worldwide.
