Jingkong Energy’s 7MW/15MWh Commercial Energy Storage Project in Hengshui, Hebei, is Now Fully Operational
Recently, Jingkong Energy announced that its 7MW/15MWh commercial energy storage project in Hengshui, Hebei, has achieved full capacity and is now operational. This project marks the first commercial demonstration initiative in Hengshui.
As a leading provider of smart energy system solutions, Jingkong Energy has developed a collaborative operation model combining distributed energy storage and microgrid technologies. This model presents a replicable technical paradigm for constructing new power systems in the industrial sector.
Integrating energy storage systems into traditional industrial parks is essential for achieving a green and low-carbon transition and ensuring high-quality development. By establishing a “storage + distributed energy” framework, businesses can reduce their annual electricity expenses by 15% to 30%, while increasing the penetration rate of green electricity to over 40% to meet carbon quota constraints.
The rapid response capability of the energy storage system ensures a continuous power supply for precision manufacturing production lines. Furthermore, it can substitute for grid expansion and participate in frequency regulation ancillary services, creating additional revenue streams.
Supported by policy initiatives and technological breakthroughs, energy storage has become a central hub for industrial parks aiming to build new power systems. To address challenges such as low grid adaptability, spatial constraints, and scattered equipment distribution, Jingkong Energy has innovatively designed an irregular distributed PV-storage integrated system.
This solution integrates a customized energy storage system with an intelligent energy management system (EMS). Utilizing multi-point grid connection topology and dynamic cluster control technology, it enables efficient energy aggregation and flexible dispatch across various scenarios. The system accommodates multiple voltage levels, adapts to varying transformer capacities in industrial sites, and implements anti-reverse flow protection and harmonic suppression technologies to ensure safe and stable grid operation.
In this project, Jingkong Energy has deeply integrated an intelligent time-of-use control system. Based on regional peak and valley electricity pricing mechanisms, it has developed precise charging and discharging strategies. The system employs a “valley charge, flat charge + peak discharge” model to achieve real-time matching between electricity pricing periods and load curves. By merging capacity charge optimization models, the energy storage system can effectively flatten peak loads, resulting in a total economic benefit exceeding 28.61 million yuan and an annual carbon reduction of 4,927 tons. This dual benefit model establishes a new benchmark for the value of commercial energy storage.
Jingkong Energy is committed to enhancing technological innovation and iterating its business models. The company aims to promote the deep integration of energy storage systems with advanced technologies, building a one-stop smart energy solution focused on high-quality development. This initiative will accelerate the zero-carbon transformation in commercial scenarios, providing owners with more efficient and reliable green energy services.
