Envision Greenwise Holdings Limited and Gotion High-Tech Co., Ltd Enter into a Strategic Framework Agreement
On February 24, 2025, Envision Greenwise Holdings Limited announced its partnership with Gotion High-Tech Co., Ltd through a strategic framework agreement. This agreement aims to enhance collaboration in several key areas:
Battery Recycling and After-sales Services
The two companies will work together to develop a comprehensive system for lithium battery sales, after-sales service, and recycling. Envision Greenwise will utilize its network of over 60 service points worldwide, while Gotion High-Tech boasts a projected annual battery production capacity of approximately 300 GWh (Gigawatt hours). Gotion will provide technical support, personnel training, and assistance in setting up service stations. In turn, Envision Greenwise will offer extensive after-sales support through its global service stations. The initial phase of this collaboration will focus on 10 service points, with plans to expand to 100 over time.
Global Battery Material Trade Center
The companies will also establish global battery material trade centers, starting with Hong Kong and Singapore as pilot locations. These centers will facilitate the international circulation and supply of batteries, components, and related equipment, supporting global battery production, recycling, and remanufacturing while ensuring a sustainable supply chain.
Demonstration Site for Battery Cascade Utilization
A demonstration site for battery cascade utilization will be established at Envision Greenwise’s power battery processing facility in EcoPark, Hong Kong. This site will highlight advancements in battery recycling, remanufacturing, and reuse. Gotion High-Tech will leverage its production capabilities to provide technical support, while Envision Greenwise will ensure operational support at EcoPark, promoting sustainability within the environmental protection industry.
Low Carbon Research Institute and Battery Passport System
The parties will initiate a pilot project of a fully closed-loop battery system in Hong Kong, utilizing the jointly established Gotion EVS Greenwise Low Carbon Research Institute. This project aims to create a traceable lifecycle management system for batteries in Hong Kong, expanding beyond individual aspects like restricted substances and recycling to a comprehensive lifecycle management system that includes carbon footprint, recycled material usage, and supply chain due diligence.
