VivaTech 2025: ENGIE’s Commitment to Energy Transition Through AI and Data

From June 11 to 14, 2025, Paris will host VivaTech, Europe’s largest event focused on startups and new technologies. ENGIE is set to present 26 innovative digital and data-driven solutions aimed at addressing one of the most pressing challenges of our time: the energy transition.

Data and artificial intelligence (AI) are pivotal in enhancing the effectiveness of ENGIE’s integrated energy model. These technologies are developed in-house through our innovation labs as well as in collaboration with startups and leading research institutions, including the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), recognized as one of the world’s premier research centers. This collaborative ecosystem allows us to deliver practical and scalable solutions that accelerate the shift towards a low-carbon energy system, supported by our dedicated workforce of 98,000 employees.

AI is transforming the energy landscape, and at VivaTech, ENGIE is demonstrating how AI-driven tools are utilized throughout the entire value chain. By leveraging digital technologies, data, and AI, we enhance asset management, customer experiences, and employee productivity.

AI facilitates the real-time optimization of intricate systems, enhances predictive maintenance for wind farms, supports intelligent energy management, and increases team efficiency. These advancements contribute to lowering equipment costs and carbon emissions, positioning AI as a crucial element in the decarbonization process. For instance, algorithms play a vital role in one of our key objectives: delivering 24/7 carbon-free electricity to customers who request it. This requires precise forecasting of renewable energy production while dynamically managing flexible assets like storage batteries.

### Global Hypervision Center: Harnessing Digital Technology for Renewable Assets

Launched in early 2025, ENGIE’s Global Hypervision Center (GHC) enables real-time monitoring of the operational performance of our global fleet of renewable assets, including solar, wind, and hydro, with plans to soon include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Covering over 1,000 sites worldwide, the GHC consolidates operational data into a unified platform. This allows ENGIE to monitor the activities of its renewable sites in real time, promptly address critical issues, analyze incidents and solutions, and share best practices. This initiative significantly contributes to our operational excellence, marking a major milestone in the Group’s digital transformation.

### FlyRenov: Precision Drone Technology for Renewable Asset Maintenance

Supported by ENGIE, the startup FlyRenov is transforming the maintenance of renewable assets through advanced aerial robotics. Specializing in cleaning and renovating wind turbines and solar panels using drones, FlyRenov combines robust hardware with intelligent software, ensuring high-precision operations while minimizing safety risks for human operators. Its state-of-the-art algorithms and onboard sensors allow drones to clean surfaces with surgical accuracy, thereby prolonging asset lifespan and enhancing energy output. FlyRenov’s innovative technology has gained recognition under the France 2030 program. Visit FlyRenov’s team at ENGIE’s booth during VivaTech!

### ENGIE Global Market Access (EGMA) Platform: Streamlining Energy Transactions

ENGIE’s EGMA platform offers businesses direct, real-time access to gas and power markets via user-friendly dashboards. Catering to a diverse range of users—from investment funds to greenhouse tomato growers in Spain—EGMA allows for swift execution of trades across various maturities. The platform streamlines every step of the transaction process, from quote requests to trade execution and confirmations. Since its launch in 2022, EGMA has facilitated over 150,000 transactions and traded more than 2,500 TWh of electricity and gas, currently serving 2,200 users from 345 companies.

### Join Us at VivaTech 2025
