On May 5, 2025, Guangzhou Automobile Group announced a specialized request regarding an issue with the electric vehicle battery management system. The request, cataloged as CN119911119A, was aimed at addressing the abnormal battery replacement methods and was initiated on March 2025.

The request outlined that the management system for electric vehicle batteries experienced irregularities during the replacement process. Specifically, it focused on the conditions of the primary and secondary batteries during maintenance and monitoring, ensuring that if any abnormal conditions arose, swift action could be taken to rectify the situation, thus enhancing operational efficiency.

According to the report, Guangzhou Automobile Group has been a leading player in the new energy vehicle sector since 2017. The company, located in Guangzhou City, operates primarily in the electric vehicle manufacturing sector. As of now, the company has received a total of 780,338.8361 million yuan in funding.
