April 15, 2025: The electric vehicle battery new national standards were announced during a conference held in the Western District of Beijing. The municipal government of Beijing has committed to supporting the implementation of this new standard, which aims to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of electric vehicle infrastructure.

According to the announcement, the city has set a target of providing at least 30% funding for related projects that are essential for the development of electric vehicle infrastructure, including construction and procurement processes. This funding will support the establishment of smart charging solutions and the expansion of electric vehicle networks.

In addition, the authorities in Guangzhou have emphasized the need to strengthen support for electric vehicle charging stations and to expedite the construction of relevant projects. The aim is to create a robust network for electric vehicles, ensuring their accessibility and convenience for users.

Meanwhile, the Shandong Province has also initiated projects focusing on high-quality electric vehicle infrastructure to support the growing demand for electric mobility. This includes plans to establish charging stations and integrate smart technology into the existing electric vehicle ecosystem.

The local government of Shandong has set a goal to build 8 million charging stations by 2030, aiming for over 70% of new vehicles sold in the province to be electric by that year. This ambitious plan emphasizes the transformation of the transportation sector towards sustainable practices.

Additionally, the Henan Province is implementing measures to ensure that the ratio of electric vehicle charging stations to traditional vehicles does not exceed 2.5:1. This regulation is part of a broader initiative to promote the adoption of electric vehicles and support the infrastructure needed for their operation.

As part of these efforts, smart electric vehicle systems and energy management solutions are being studied and developed to facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources into the electric vehicle charging network. This includes projects to enhance the efficiency of charging stations and their ability to manage energy loads effectively.

On another note, the Yunnan Province has recently launched a new strategy aimed at improving the quality of electric vehicle infrastructure. By 2030, plans are in place to establish a comprehensive electric vehicle charging network that will meet the needs of the growing electric vehicle market.

The initiative includes a commitment to increase the number of charging stations and to ensure that they are equipped with the latest technology to provide efficient and reliable service to electric vehicle users.

As these provinces move forward with their plans, the electric vehicle market is expected to see significant growth, with projections indicating that by 2027, electric vehicles will account for over 100% of new vehicle sales in these regions.

This collective effort from various provinces highlights a strong commitment to enhancing electric vehicle infrastructure and promoting sustainable transportation solutions across the country.
