In Anhui’s Wuwei, a notification was issued requiring all distributed photovoltaic projects to complete the setting of inverter output voltage standards by June 20, 2025. This regulation aims to enhance the management of safe operational practices for distributed photovoltaic systems.

The results of the centralized procurement of 800MW inverters for the South-to-North Water Diversion project have been released, with nine companies qualifying across three bidding sections. The procurement includes both centralized inverter systems and various power string inverters, with competitive pricing varying by section.

In Q1, Lujiang County successfully signed a contract for a project to produce 3.5 million photovoltaic inverter components annually. During this quarter, a total of 204 photovoltaic and energy storage projects were registered, with a total investment of 251 million yuan.
The photovoltaic inverter ranking for January to March shows that state-owned enterprises tendered around 95 projects, totaling 23.57GW. Leading companies include Huawei, Zhuzhou Converter, and Sungrow, dominating the market with a significant share.

Market Trends
From January to February, the total capacity of photovoltaic inverter tenders reached 94.31GW, with over 96% coming from state-owned enterprises. The trend indicates a rising demand for string inverters, with the lowest bid recorded at 0.084 yuan/W and the highest at 0.293 yuan/W.
