Crowds Gather | China Storage National Energy Makes a Splash at the 13th International Energy Storage Summit and Exhibition, Attracting Significant Attention from Various Sectors

From April 10 to 12, the annual heavyweight event in the energy storage industry, the 13th International Energy Storage Summit and Exhibition (ESIE2025), was grandly held at the Capital International Exhibition Center. During the exhibition, China Storage National Energy showcased its presence in Hall A1, attracting a steady stream of visitors for discussions, exchanges, and collaborations, generating considerable attention.

The theme of this year’s summit was “Digital Intelligence Empowering Industrial Transformation: Energy Storage Reshaping the Energy Landscape.” It gathered nearly 800 exhibitors and sponsors from across the entire energy storage industry chain, with over 200,000 participants from government agencies, regulatory bodies, research institutes, power grid companies, power generation groups, system integrators, energy storage technology providers, supportive equipment suppliers, and energy operators.

On the morning of April 10, the summit also hosted the award ceremony for the 9th International Energy Storage Innovation Competition. The Shandong Feicheng 300MW Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage National Demonstration Project, jointly submitted by China Storage National Energy (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, was selected as one of the “2025 Energy Storage Application Innovation Top 10” due to its outstanding technological innovation and application results, further highlighting the company’s industrial value in the large-scale energy storage sector.

During the exhibition, China Storage National Energy provided detailed information about its company profile, research and development history, core competitiveness, and major projects through display boards. A significant highlight of this year’s booth was the five large models that vividly showcased the technical characteristics and advantages of advanced compressed air energy storage systems and four key projects, allowing the public to clearly understand the unique advantages of this technology in long-duration, large-scale energy storage across different geological conditions and application scenarios.

Over the two-day exhibition, numerous representatives from local governments, major state-owned energy enterprises, regional state-owned investment institutions, shareholder representatives, upstream and downstream industry chain companies, and academic research institutes engaged in discussions and exchanges at the China Storage National Energy booth, with visitors continuously arriving.

Notable visitors included Xi Guofu, the Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Industrial Development Department of the State Grid Corporation, and Chen Jinxing, the invited Vice Chairman of the China Energy Research Society. They visited the China Storage National Energy booth and acknowledged the company’s significant achievements in technology innovation and engineering applications within the compressed air energy storage sector. They gained a detailed understanding of the technical specifics, plant operations, and grid coupling, engaging in extensive discussions about future technological and industrial development directions.

Furthermore, the technological innovation and application achievements of China Storage National Energy‘s advanced compressed air energy storage system received considerable attention from mainstream and industry media. On April 14, CCTV’s Morning News featured a report titled “Diversified Scenarios Expanding New Energy Storage Technologies” during the summit. The General Manager was interviewed by a CCTV reporter, discussing the technological advantages of advanced compressed air energy storage in industrial development.
