CMEC Longhua’s 5.9 MW Distributed Solar Power Project Begins Grid Operation

Recently, the China Coal Longhua company successfully launched the first phase of its 5.9 MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project, with a 3.0 MW photovoltaic power station now officially connected to the grid. This successful operation injects new momentum into the new energy sector of China Coal Longhua.

In recent years, China Coal Longhua has consistently implemented a green development strategy, actively seeking new pathways for energy conservation and efficiency improvements. The company has utilized idle land resources to construct distributed photovoltaic projects, promoting a green and low-carbon transformation.

The 5.9 MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project was built on its own land, specifically the site of a non-operational brick factory. The first phase of the project includes a photovoltaic power station with a capacity of 3.0 MW, which features 5,512 bifacial monocrystalline photovoltaic modules, generating an average annual power output of 4.12 million kWh.

Since the commencement of construction, the Harbin New Energy Company has faced numerous challenges including tight schedules, heavy workloads, and complex tasks. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality, the team worked diligently to push the project forward, ultimately achieving the grid connection on schedule, thus contributing new momentum to the development of green energy.

Additionally, the second phase of the 5.9 MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project, which includes a 2.9 MW photovoltaic power station on the site of the former Yilan Coal Mine Power Plant, is also being rapidly developed and is expected to be completed and connected to the grid later this year.
