CLOU Electronics Co., Ltd. made a notable appearance at the 2025 Indonesia International Solar and Battery Energy Storage Exhibition, held in Jakarta from April 23 to 25. During the event, the company was honored as one of the Top 5 Battery & Energy Storage Innovation Companies as voted by attendees, demonstrating its commitment to the Asia-Pacific market. Other companies on the list included industry leaders such as Sungrow, Trina Solar, Huawei, and JA Solar.
At the exhibition, CLOU showcased its comprehensive range of advanced energy storage technologies, including the Aqua-C2.5 grid-level solution, Aqua-E233 commercial and industrial energy storage system, cloud-edge integrated Energy Management System (EMS), and the EP Package integrated solution. One of the highlights was the Aqua-C2.5, a string inverter version that attracted significant attention within the industry. This system integrates string inverters and batteries within an AC storage cabinet, enhancing efficiency while offering modular expansion and flexible deployment options. CLOU is among the few companies globally capable of delivering mature string PCS solutions. The Aqua-C2.5 system also features CLOU’s independently developed Smart Scales active balancing technology, which optimizes energy distribution through active balancing control, and has recently passed the CSA TS-800 Large Scale Fire Test (LSFT), earning authoritative safety and reliability certification.
Another notable offering from CLOU was the EP Package integrated solution, which establishes a comprehensive service system covering the entire project lifecycle—from system design and engineering implementation to grid connection debugging, capacity expansion, and a long-term operation and maintenance service agreement lasting up to 20 years. This all-inclusive approach allows CLOU to help clients maximize system performance and return on investment.
During the keynote session, CLOU’s Asia-Pacific Director, Harrison Ye, emphasized the significance of comprehensive system integration: “True system integration is not merely about stacking components; it encompasses excellent engineering capabilities, streamlined operation and maintenance systems, scientific quality assurance strategies, and value creation across the entire lifecycle. Profitability should be assessed based on three key indicators: energy output, cycle efficiency, and long-term reliability.”
As a leading enterprise with nearly 30 years of experience in the global energy market, CLOU’s energy storage system delivery volume surpassed 6 GWh by the fourth quarter of 2024, extending its business reach across the Americas, Europe, and Chile.
Looking ahead, CLOU is accelerating its localization manufacturing efforts in Indonesia. The first phase of its Indonesian factory is set to commence production in the first quarter of 2026, with an initial capacity of 4 GWh, which may later expand to 6 GWh. The company is also planning further expansion to meet Indonesia’s TKDN requirements while deepening investments throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
