CLOU Electronics Showcases at 2025 Indonesia Battery Storage Exhibition, Ranked Among Top 5 Innovative Companies in Energy Storage

CLOU

CLOU Electronics showcased its innovative battery storage solutions at the 2025 Indonesia International Solar and Battery Storage Exhibition held in Jakarta from April 23 to 25. During the event, the company was recognized as one of the Top 5 Battery & Energy Storage Innovation Companies by GEM Indonesia through audience voting, highlighting its commitment to the Asia-Pacific market. Other notable companies on the list included Sungrow Power Supply, Trina Solar, Huawei, and JA Solar Technology.

CLOU presented a comprehensive range of advanced energy storage technologies, including the Aqua-C2.5 grid-level solution, the Aqua-E233 commercial and industrial energy storage system, an integrated energy management system (EMS), and the EP Package integrated solution. The Aqua-C2.5 string inverter system drew significant attention as it combines a string inverter with batteries within an AC storage cabinet to enhance efficiency while offering modular expansion and flexible deployment.

As one of the few companies globally equipped to deliver mature string PCS solutions, CLOU also integrated its proprietary Smart Scales active balancing technology, enabling optimal energy distribution through active balancing control. The system recently passed the CSA TS-800 Large Scale Fire Test (LSFT), earning authoritative certifications for safety and reliability.

Another highlight of the exhibition was CLOU’s EP Package integrated solution, which establishes a comprehensive service system covering the entire project lifecycle, from system design and engineering implementation to grid connection commissioning and capacity expansion, along with a long-term operation and maintenance service agreement lasting up to 20 years. This holistic integration allows CLOU to maximize system performance and return on investment for its clients.

During the keynote session, Harrison Ye, CLOU’s Asia-Pacific Director, emphasized the importance of comprehensive system integration: “True system integration is not merely about stacking components; it encompasses exceptional engineering capabilities, lean operation systems, scientific quality assurance strategies, and value creation throughout the entire lifecycle. Profitability should focus on three key metrics: energy output, cycle efficiency, and long-term reliability.”

As a leading enterprise with nearly 30 years of experience in the global energy market, CLOU’s energy storage system delivery volume exceeded 6 GWh by the fourth quarter of 2024, with a business presence across the Americas, Europe, and Chile. Looking ahead, CLOU is accelerating its localization efforts in Indonesia. The first phase of its Indonesian factory is set to commence production in the first quarter of 2026, with an initial capacity of 4 GWh, which can later expand to 6 GWh. The company is also planning further expansion to meet Indonesia’s TKDN requirements and deepen investments throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
