China Securities Regulatory Commission: Plans to Facilitate A-Share Inclusion in International Market Benchmarks
On November 21, Zhang Xiaojun responded to the progress of including A-shares in the MSCI index following the launch of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect. He stated that relevant departments have recently jointly issued tax incentive policies for QFII and RQFII programs. In the future, there will be strengthened communication with related ministries, and discussions will be held with index companies to promote the inclusion of A-shares in international market benchmark indices.
