
On April 23, 2024, the China Energy Construction Group officially signed a contract with the local company for the Meirong Power Plant, which is a three-year operational maintenance project.
The Meirong Power Plant is located in the Meirong District, approximately 140 kilometers from the capital city. It has a total capacity of 47 megawatts. The project is being jointly managed by China Energy Construction Group and Safe Power Construction Co., Ltd., serving as the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor, and has already commenced power generation.
This project marks the first contract following the establishment of the Meirong Power Plant and aims to significantly enhance the energy supply in the region. It is expected to promote the development of the energy market in Meirong, facilitating a cycle of “development leads to efficiency, and efficiency promotes further development.”
