Among these, solar power generation capacity reached 11.2 billion kilowatts, representing a 48.5% increase; wind power generation capacity was 5.8 billion kilowatts, with a growth of 22.1%.
The statistics indicate that from January to August, the newly installed solar power generation capacity reached 34,516 megawatts, which is an increase of 13,520 megawatts compared to the same period last year. In this, wind power saw an increase of 2,424 megawatts with a total of 5,784 megawatts, while solar power generation added 23,061 megawatts, an increase of 9,062 megawatts compared to the previous year.
From January to August, the combined installed capacity of solar and wind energy reached 2.8 billion kilowatts.
