New Energy Transition policy proves effective in promoting the switch from traditional fuel vehicles to new energy vehicles.

According to a report from China Securities Journal, as of May 20, 2025, the country has allocated 1.5 trillion yuan for the transition to electric vehicles. The current vehicle production is already showing promising trends.

On May 18, during a conference discussing the automotive market, it was reported that the ratio of new energy vehicle purchases compared to traditional fuel vehicles is approximately 6:4. This indicates a significant shift towards electric vehicles, with over 1 million vehicles receiving subsidies.

Recent statistics show that China’s new energy vehicle market is experiencing substantial growth, with manufacturers actively responding to the “New Energy Transition” policy aimed at boosting the electric vehicle market.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Commerce, there has been a request for 3.225 million new energy vehicle subsidies expected by 2025, with 1.035 million of these related to passenger vehicles.

In addition, many manufacturers are launching new models to meet the increasing demand, such as the Lingxiang L6Pro, priced at 249,800 yuan, with additional subsidies available, making it more accessible to consumers.

From May 22, Xiaopeng Motors plans to release the new SUV model, the YU7, which is anticipated to boost sales significantly. The company is also working on expanding its offerings with the introduction of new models throughout the year.

As of May 16, Li Auto announced the launch of two new models, the ES6 and EC6, which are set to enter the market on June 30. The vehicles are expected to be priced competitively, with promotional offers making them attractive to buyers.

In summary, the “New Energy Transition” policy has been effective in fostering the development of the electric vehicle market in China, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable automotive industry.
