In 2025, China will officially launch the “Green Low-Carbon Industry Development Promotion” initiative, aimed at advancing the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
The initiative is part of China’s commitment to achieving “carbon neutrality” and promoting the construction of a green manufacturing system. It highlights the role of industries in the carbon transition, encouraging the adoption of green technologies and high-quality development.
The “2025 China Industry Green and Low-Carbon Development Conference” (abbreviated as “FCE2025”) is scheduled to be held from September 15 to 17, 2025, in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. This conference will focus on technology innovation in green manufacturing and the low-carbon transition of industries.
With the theme “Intelligent Green Technology Promoting Low-Carbon Industry Development,” the conference aims to facilitate discussions on carbon reduction standards and accelerate the adoption of green industry practices.
Starting from 2024, the central government will prioritize the establishment of “green low-carbon industrial parks” and will enhance policies supporting the transition to low-carbon manufacturing. By 2025, the government will confirm the promotion of low-carbon industrial construction, aligning with the national strategy for high-level green transitions.
The FCE2025 will gather governmental officials, industry leaders, and academic experts to discuss new energy sources, smart manufacturing, and sustainable practices in industries. It aims to create a collaborative platform for sharing best practices and technological advancements.
The event will explore three major dimensions: the establishment of industry standards for low-carbon products, pathways for green low-carbon solutions, and acceleration of the low-carbon transition in industries.
The conference will feature discussions on various topics, including energy management, green microgrid construction, and innovations in low-carbon technologies. Participants will evaluate the performance of products based on their carbon reduction capabilities and market applications.
In addition, the conference will emphasize the importance of enhancing technological skills and promoting the value of green innovations. A special focus will be placed on engaging with industry experts and leveraging their insights to drive effective strategies for low-carbon development.
The organizing committee encourages participation from various stakeholders, including government departments, trade associations, and design firms. Interested parties can register online at www.glfce.com for more information regarding the conference and submission guidelines.
