China’s State Grid Corporation Continues to Develop Sustainable Energy Projects
On April 10, 2025, during a meeting held by the State Grid Corporation of China, the company outlined its ongoing commitment to the development of sustainable energy projects. The focus areas include new energy sources, resource integration, infrastructure construction, and the automotive supply chain, with 18 key initiatives discussed.

The projects are expected to cover significant areas including collaboration with countries such as Argentina, Brazil, and India, with a total investment of approximately 4.795 trillion yuan. Among these, China and Brazil plan to establish 200 solar power generation projects, further enhancing the development of sustainable energy.
Additionally, the collaboration with Brazil focuses on the construction of advanced energy solutions that are crucial for the country’s energy transition. The emphasis will be on developing 200 solar power stations, which will significantly boost energy supply and resource efficiency.

During this meeting, Sun Chuanming, the General Manager of the State Grid, expressed the necessity for collaborative efforts to ensure effective implementation of these projects. He highlighted that the joint ventures would aim to enhance the quality and availability of sustainable energy resources, particularly through the establishment of advanced solar and wind energy facilities.
Moreover, there was a special focus on energy cooperation, specifically regarding infrastructure projects and technological advancements. Discussions also included the potential for creating a unified strategy for green energy development across multiple nations.
