
The 11th China International Battery Fair has commenced in Shenzhen, showcasing advancements in battery technology. The event is being held on May 15, 2025, and has attracted over 3,200 exhibitors and is expected to draw more than 400,000 visitors over its three-day run.
The theme of this year’s fair is “Chain Movement, Green Development, and Future Innovation”. With 15 exhibition areas covering over 30,000 square meters, the event includes displays of battery materials, designs, manufacturing technologies, and recycling solutions, highlighting the importance of sustainability in the battery industry.
As part of the fair, there will be discussions on the “carbon neutral” goal, emphasizing the rapid growth of the new energy vehicle sector, which is becoming a key player in global battery production and utilization. By 2025, it is projected that the industry will continue to expand, making China the largest producer of electric vehicles and batteries.
The fair will also feature a special focus on electric aviation and the future of battery technology, including applications for lithium-ion batteries and other advanced energy solutions. Discussions on sustainability, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in battery technology, are also on the agenda.
In addition to the main exhibition, there will be specialized forums dedicated to various topics, including electric vehicle technology, battery recycling, and the integration of renewable energy sources. The event aims to foster collaboration among industry leaders and promote the development of innovative solutions for the future.
This year’s fair is organized by the China Industrial Association of Power Sources and is expected to set the stage for significant advancements in the battery industry.
