China Ship Fuel has signed agreements with six companies to deepen collaboration in the field of green energy. On April 16, the 2025 Global Green Supply Chain Partnership Conference was held in Shanghai. As a subsidiary of China COSCO Shipping Group, China Ship Fuel aims to build an efficient and collaborative platform for communication and cooperation in response to the global shipping industry’s transition toward sustainable development. During the conference, they released several group standards, including the Carbon Footprint Evaluation of Green Methanol Products, the Safety Regulations for the Refueling Operations of Marine Methanol Fuel Tankers, and the Technical Requirements for Oil Spill Monitoring Systems in Marine Refueling Operations. These standards provide clear guidance for the industry’s green transformation.
During the event, China Ship Fuel signed a strategic cooperation agreement with six partners: China International Marine Containers (CIMC) Anrui Co., Ltd., Mitsui & Co. Energy Ltd., Huaneng Jilin Power Co., Ltd., Venture Energy Co., Ltd., China Tianying Inc., and Hua Dian Jilin Energy Co., Ltd.. This agreement is expected to strengthen their collaboration further. In the future, with joint efforts from all parties, partnerships will become closer, and the green supply chain will become more robust, paving the way for a brighter future in green energy.
