5.5 Billion! China Energy Construction Wins EPC Contract for 200MW Photovoltaic Project in Inner Mongolia
Date: October 14, 2025
Core Insight: Injecting Strong Green Energy into Regional High-Quality Development
On October 11, China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group Company announced its successful bid for the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract for a 200MW courtyard-style photovoltaic and commercial photovoltaic project in Baimaozi Township and Chasuqi Town, located in the Tumote Zuoqi area of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. The total contract value is approximately 5.5 billion yuan.
This project aims to establish a 200MW distributed photovoltaic and commercial power generation initiative across rooftops and courtyards in various towns and households through a leasing model. This will facilitate the full-grid connectivity of distributed user photovoltaics, self-use by commercial photovoltaic systems, and the feeding of surplus electricity into the grid. The planned construction period for the project is 730 calendar days.
Once completed, this project is expected to further optimize the local energy structure and generate positive impacts in multiple areas, including economic growth, rural revitalization, ecological protection, and energy security, thus providing a robust green impetus for regional high-quality development.
