To support this, the local electricity supply department is implementing plans to establish four 60-megawatt direct current charging stations and increase the number of charging stations by two additional 160-megawatt fast-charging units, which will increase capacity by 70%.
In Shenzhen, to manage the high traffic volumes, the local electricity supply department is prioritizing rapid charging station construction. By 2025, the aim is to build 50 fast-charging stations. Currently, Shenzhen has established a robust network of charging stations, ensuring that electric vehicle users have convenient access to charging facilities.
In Nanjing, the city’s rapid development of charging stations is part of a broader initiative to enhance electric vehicle infrastructure. The local electricity supply department has already established four fast-charging stations and twelve standard charging stations to meet the diverse needs of electric vehicle users.
