Seminar on Building a New Ecosystem for Sustainable Development of the Photovoltaic Industry Held
Recently, the Financial Leasing Working Committee of the Zhejiang Banking Association organized a seminar titled “Building a New Ecosystem for Sustainable Development of the Photovoltaic Industry” along with a business leasing matchmaking event. This conference brought together representatives from leasing companies such as Huarong Financial Leasing, Zhejiang Yin Financial Leasing, and Chouzhou Financial Leasing, as well as representatives from 12 photovoltaic enterprises to discuss the transformation of the photovoltaic industry and innovations in leasing models in the context of a market-oriented power sector.
Focusing on Policy Trends and Industry Prospects
To analyze the impact of policies, Yang Rongcheng, a senior researcher from China Merchants Bank’s Research Institute, delivered a speech on the current status and trends of the photovoltaic industry. He discussed the market-oriented reform of electricity prices for new energy and its effects on the revenue of various types of photovoltaic projects. Furthermore, he proposed strategies for photovoltaic companies to adapt and provided a forward-looking assessment of development trends in photovoltaic manufacturing, offering attendees a deeper understanding of the industry’s current state and a clearer perspective on future market trends.
Deep Dialogue Between Industry and Finance to Explore Innovative Paths
Experts from both the industry and leasing sectors engaged in in-depth dialogue regarding the new stage of industrial development and cooperation between leasing companies and enterprises. Representatives from Zhengtai Aneng, Mingan Chaoju, and other industry players shared insights on the implementation of distributed photovoltaic policies and technological advancements, providing attendees with firsthand information from the market. Leasing institutions, including Huarong Financial Leasing, Zhejiang Yin Financial Leasing, and Zhejiang Energy Leasing, discussed opportunities and challenges in the current leasing landscape, exploring how financing models can be adapted to meet diverse situational needs and proposing innovative leasing service strategies.
Building a Matchmaking Platform to Empower Green Transformation
The Zhejiang Solar Photovoltaic Industry Association participated in the event, bringing together over ten photovoltaic supply chain companies to engage in in-depth discussions and business matchmaking with representatives from local financial leasing and commercial leasing companies. This initiative aims to enhance the precision and effectiveness of leasing services within the photovoltaic supply chain, continuously injecting financial resources into the distributed photovoltaic industry, as well as its related sectors such as energy storage and charging.
It is understood that the Financial Leasing Working Committee of the Zhejiang Banking Association will continue to play a pivotal role as a platform to promote industry policy research, business model innovation, and risk management capabilities. This will further strengthen communication and interaction between leasing companies and enterprises, deepen business cooperation, and identify new leasing service models for the photovoltaic industry in this new stage of development. Together, they aim to build a sustainable development ecosystem for the photovoltaic industry, providing a “new engine” for high-quality industry growth and contributing “new momentum” to Zhejiang’s goal of becoming a “green finance hub.”
